Kristin Harleman, Senior Designer

Being the first "hire" way back in the months of Signature Environments' infancy, and luring her away from a prominent Bellevue architecture firm by dangling weekly latte's in front of her nose, Kristin hopped on board in 1997 as our Senior Designer.

With a three year Associate of Arts in Interior Design from Bellevue Community College and over 16 years experience in dental office planning and design, Kristin thrives on challenge and gets great satisfaction from finding solutions to "problems" that cannot be solved. While some might consider this as not taking "No" for an answer (don't tell her husband) we value her talent and tenacity-she gets things done, correctly, the first time. She understands the complexity of the design and construction process as well as the stress that can accompany it, and she strives to make the process as fun and "stress-free" as possible for clients.

Outside of the office, Kristin is a true "soccer mom"; coaching her daughter's team and helping her husband manage their son's soccer team in the Fall. You might also catch her updating the finishes in her home in the winter, propagating seeds in the early spring, camping (in their mobile "apartment") in the spring and summer or taking a quick, yearly trip to Gustavus, Alaska for some halibut and salmon fishing. Kristin's standard Monday morning greeting is "it's so nice to be at the spa". To maintain her sanity we keep her loaded with spa gift cards ensuring she will maintain her work/life balance.
